A detailed and attractive early 17th Century map of of South West England which was published in the Mercator / Hondius’s Atlas Minor (Amsterdam: [Latin Text] 1610). This maps from this atlas were produced as  reduced (or as ‘pocket sized’)  versions to the larger ones by Gerard Mercator.

  • This is an original copperplate engraving with later hand colour.
  • Printed area is approximately 18.2cms by 12.9cms.
  • The item is in very good condition with decent margins. There is some very minor see-through from the text on the reverse. Click on image for a better view.
  • The map comes displayed in a ready to frame museum quality mount.
