A very attractive Victorian chromolithograph of the Dombeya Wallichii (formerly known as Astrapaea Wallichii) which appeared in James Anderson’s The New Practical Gardener (London, Edinburgh & Glasgow: William Mackenzie, 1875).

Dombeya Wallichii, native to Madagascar and East Africa, is a popular tropical ornamental shrub or small tree, often called the Pink Ball Tree or Tropical Hydrangea.

  • Printed area is approximately 13cms by 22cms (including imprint).
