Everything was excellent other than cropping off of the top of the plate mark, an essential part for reading prints
The print itself, the speed of delivery, and the packaging were all excellent, but the top of the plate mark has been cropped off. I always mount prints so that this can be seen. It is an essential part of any analysis of a print. I have never experienced this before from a dealer, and I have collected prints for over sixty years

I’m sorry to read you are less than satisfied with your purchase. For the record, the engraving in question had not been cropped by myself. The ‘Memorials’ series was issued in either large paper editions or in a smaller, more portable edition of which this is the case with your engraving. The cropping would have been performed by the original bookbinder back in the 19th century. I would have appreciated it if you had contacted me before leaving a negative review.
