A very attractive mid 19th century view of St. Alban’s Abbey, Hertfordshire which was sketched, drawn and engraved by Prior, T. Allom and H. Adlard respectively, and published in David Hume and Tobias Smollett’s The History of  England Div X (London: James S. Virtue, 1849).

  • This is an original steel engraving with later hand colour.
  • Printed area is approximately 14.2cms by 11.1cms (including title but not imprint).
