An interesting and decorative mid 19th century plan comparing all the principle mountains of the World, which was engraved by Charles Smith and published in J.G. Barbie du Bocage’s Atlas Illustre destine a l’Enseignement de la Geographie Elementaire (Paris: Basset, 1852).
- This is an original steel engraving with later hand colour.
- Printed area is approximately 31cms by 22.9cms (including title and imprint).
