A detailed and decorative 19th Century double hemisphere map of the World which was drawn and engraved by E. George and C. Smith, respectively, and published in J.G. Barbie du Bocage’s Atlas Illustre destine a l’Enseignement de la Geographie Elementaire (Paris & Lyon: Basset & Guyot, 1848)
- This is an original steel engraving with later hand colour.
- Printed area is approximately 30.4cms by 22.6cms (including imprint).
