An attractive and finely executed 19th century view of St. Asaph Cathedral, Denbighshire (Welsh: Llanwely, Sir Ddinbych) which was sketched, drawn and engraved by Benjamin Baud, C. Warren and B. Winkles, respectively, and published in [Henry] Winkles’s architectural and picturesque illustrations of the cathedral churches of England and Wales (London: Effingham Wilson and Charles Tilt, 1836?1842). This work was highly influential in the revival of Gothic architecture in 19th century Britain.
