A very attractive and detailed 19th century map of the Southern Celestial Hemisphere — including the constellations of Aquarius, Sagittarius and Scorpio — which was drawn by Alexander Jamieson A.M., engraved by Neele & Son and published in A Celestial Atlas Comprising a Systematic Display of the Heavens (London: W. B. Whittaker, T. Caddell & S. Hailes, 1822).

  • This is an original etching with later hand colour.
  • Printed area is approximately 22cms by 19.6cms (including title, key & imprint).
