An attractive late 18th century engraving of Castle Acre Castle, Norfolk — within a page of descriptive text — which was engraved by Ellis and published in Francis Grose’s The Antiquities of England & Wales (London: S. Hooper, 1773-1787).

  • This is an original copperplate engraving with later hand colour.
  • Printed area is approximately 15.1cms by 10.2cms (engraving only) and 15.9cms by 19.4cms (with text).
