A very attractive 19th century view of Carisbrooke Castle, Isle of Wight which was drawn and engraved by J. Salmon and J. Shury & Son, respectively, and published in Robert Mudie’s Hampshire: its past and present condition (London: Orr & Co., 1838).

  • This is an original steel engraving with fine later hand colour.
  • Printed area is approximately 15.3cms by 12.9cms (including title but not imprint).
