An attractive late 18th century view of Newark Castle, Nottinghamshire which was engraved by W. Poole and published in Sylvanus Urban’s (Edward Cave’s) The Gentleman’s Magazine (London: John Nichols, 1798).

  • This is an original copperplate engraving with later hand colour.
