An attractive and ornate 18th century map of Great Britain and Ireland which was published in Johann George Schreiber’s Atlas Selectus (Leipzig: c.1745). The right panel describes the counties and regions whilst the map is dominated by a decorative cartouche with the Hanoverian coat of arms.
