An interesting and attractive early 19th century view of the Norman Tower / St James’s Gate, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk which was sketched, drawn and engraved by F. Mackenzie, J. R. Thompson and R. Sands, respectively, and published in John Britton’s Architectural Antiquities of Great Britain (London: Longman, Hurst, Rees & Orme; 1807-1826).
